The beginning was a wheat speck from which bread making has started, then bread making has developed into bakery industry. Another development in pastry & sweets industry has taken place.

Many other sub industries have been founded to support baking industry such as bread & cake improvers, instant dry yeast, bread & cake mixes, vegetable oils & fats, whipping cream, unsalted butter & butter ghee, cake & pastry margarine, baking enzymes & emulsifiers, chocolate, cake fillings of all kinds, mould inhibitors, liquid and powder colors & flavors. Baker's tools & accessories, plastic boxes... etc.

When we founded this Establishment in 1977, our aim was not mainly profit, but to invest our experience in the field of flour and food powders industry.

We have started our business from a small establishment which has expanded its business within a short time thanks to the sincere efforts of our working team. We believe that specialty is the reason for success and that honest dealing with others is the key of successful trade.

We are proud of being broadly contributing in serving bakers and confectioners throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia not only by supplying them with high quality bakery & pastry raw materials but also by providing technical advice and practical solutions for problems they possibly may encounter in the baking industry. In addition, we organize training courses in baking technology in K.S.A and abroad. From time to time, we invite bakers from Europe to visit our customers to conduct demonstrations.

In 1994 we inaugurated our food powders plant (Ahmad Abed Factory for Food Powders & Yeast) in Jeddah for manufacturing bread & cake mixes. We have some other projects for the near future to be carried out with a view to play a vital role in supporting national economy.
