Q. Do you give special offers on your products in some certain seasons of the year?

A. Yes we do offer promotional prices in some seasons all over the year such as beginning of school year, the Holy month of Ramadan, Hajj season and marriage season. During the said periods we offer our customers affordable prices and encouraging incentives on purchase of bakery pastry raw materials. As a part of integral marketing policy we distribute some of our retail packs to supermarkets at reasonable prices.

Q. Can a customer request for a sample?

A. In order to ensure our commitment to quality standards, we distribute samples of the new products to be launched to market to find out what is market reaction. It is possible for a customer to request samples for the goods he wants to purchase from us.

Q. What is the way to ask for a quotation before order confirmation?

A. A customer have the right to request for quotation for the goods we are selling before he confirms purchase order. Quotations can be given either by fax or by e-mail or even by phone. We shall be obliged to sell at the rates of the quotation.

Q. Can you give us some recipes which are easy to carry out by bakery items purchased from you?

A. Yes, we can. In fact, our role is not limited to the supply of goods, but it also includes suggestion of recipes supported by brochures and catalogs which is considered as an integral part of after sale service. This advantage is not afforded by many companies in the same line.

Q. How to avoid sudden increase in products prices resulting from fluctuation in foreign currency exchange rate against Saudi Riyal?

A. In view of the changes in the trends of local and international money markets every now and then, we have adopted a wise marketing policy which secures protection for customer from fluctuations in goods prices. This policy implies that we negotiate with customer to supply certain quantity of goods for a certain period in accordance with delivery schedule and pre agreed prices. Thus, the customer can obtain his requirements at fixed dates and fixed prices.

Q. What are the services which may offer me as a new customer dealing with you for first time?

A. When you deal with us we supply you with your requirements of high quality bakery materials based on door to door service, we offer you technical assistance and advice including new recipes in bread, pastry and confectionery line supported by catalogs, brochures and leaflets. Besides, our baker shall visit you, upon your request to conduct demonstration at your bakery or sweetshop to help you maintain a finished product with long shelf life and excellent specifications.

Q. Why do not you publish a price list for your products?

A. In fact, our relation with our customer is unique and based on probity, frankness and transparency. Most of our customers are close friends to us. We inform our customers of our prices, upon their request through quotations by fax or by e-mail. Moreover, We give our potential customers special prices and we offer our new customers encouraging prices.

Q. Do you offer your customers some special services which are not offered by others?

A. In addition to quality products we supply to customers, we give them an opportunity to have a short term theoretical and practical training courses – in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad - on latest methods in baking and pastry industry. The services we offer to customers include technical visits every now and then to ensure sound handling and optimal application of bakery materials they are buying from Abed Trading Est. We help customers maintain excellent quality finished products. Added to that, we grant our credit customers facilities in payment (30 - 90 days).

Q. As a new customer how can I deal with you on credit basis?

A. As per Establishment policy, during the first three months of dealing with us, you will pay in cash for every delivery. At the end of the said three months, your monthly purchases of goods shall be evaluated by Sales Department. In the light of this evaluation, your request will be considered to see if it is possible to grant you credit facilities. If you are eligible, you will fill up a ' Credit Facilities Application and will attach necessary supporting documents such as C.R certificate, copy of owner's I.D card, location map…etc. Your credit application will be studied by our concerned department and will be finalized within few days from submittal.
